Paultons Park boasts 71% five-star reviews, almost a quarter ahead of its nearest rival
Paultons Park has been named the UK’s highest five-star rated theme park, with a remarkable 71% of all guest reviews awarding the highest rating – almost a quarter more than its nearest competitor, which sits at 47%. The impressive figures place the family-run attraction significantly ahead of the rest of the sector, reinforcing its reputation as the nation’s most-loved theme park for families.
Family owned and operated Paultons Park boasts more than 70 rides and attractions including the UK exclusive Peppa Pig World, Midwest America-inspired Tornado Springs and Jurassic-themed attraction Lost Kingdom. Based in Ower, Hampshire, Paultons Park has excellent transport links to London and the south, offers free parking to all visitors, and some of the lowest ride queue times in the UK.
The milestone comes just after Paultons Park opens its biggest investment to date, Valgard: Realm of the Vikings. The new themed world features Paultons Park’s first inverting coaster, Drakon, a brand-new Vild Swing that swirls riders 12 metres in the air, and Cobra, a famous favourite ride at Paultons Park, reborn as Raven. To complete the Valgard experience, Paultons Park has also created a highly themed Feasting Hall restaurant and new Viking-inspired playground for younger visitors to enjoy.
Paultons Park has recently scored its highest ever VAQAS (Visitor Attraction Quality Assurance Scheme) rating, coming in at an impressive 97%. While in 2025, Paultons Park took home an astonishing 10 trophies in the UK Theme Park Awards, including the highest accolade, Theme Park of the Year, Best New Attraction for its UK first indoor dark ride, Ghostly Manor, and the Best Customer Service trophy.
