Peppa Pig World (in Paulton’s Park, Hampshire, UK), has welcomed many visitors since its grand opening in 2011. Peppa Pig’s popularity has stretched to North America, meaning children across the nation are mimicking Peppa’s British phrases.
Paultons Park, the UK exclusive home of Peppa Pig World, has shared some of Peppa’s classic phrases with its Peppa fans, which they can use no matter where they are.
Motorway vs Highway
When Peppa goes for a drive in Daddy Pig’s Car she gets excited about going on the motorway!
The Queen
Everyone knows the UK’s Queen, and so they can feel like a princess or prince as well when riding on The Queens Flying Coach. If you ever meet her, call her “Your Majesty”, and subsequently ‘Ma’am,’ pronounced with a short ‘a,’ as in ‘jam’. Make sure to practice your curtsey!
Trainers vs Sneakers
Peppa Pig World has nine brilliant rides, which means lots of walking! Bring your trainers (sneakers if you’re in America), and if you’re lucky and it rains, bring your boots just in case for those muddy puddles!
Chips vs French Fries
Just like Daddy Pig, you can get a big belly by eating good ol’ fashioned Fish and Chips, or “fries” at a range of restaurants in the park. At Daddy Pig’s Cafe or in The Queen’s Kitchen, there is something for everyone. Yummy.
