This season debuts Paultons Park’s new junior coaster and sees the return of popular ‘Hoppy Easter’ event

Paultons Park, the UK’s number one family theme park with over 80 rides and attractions, reopens for the season on Saturday 19th February. The opening starts the countdown to the opening of the park’s brand-new junior coaster, Farmyard Flyer, on April 1st.

Farmyard Flyer is a family rollercoaster that is perfect for younger children which takes riders on an exciting flight around the Tornado Springs countryside!

The family theme park, located in the New Forest National Park, is renowned for its attention to detail and this new ride, that’ll sit among its latest attraction, Tornado Springs, is no different.

James Mancey, operations director at Paultons Park said: “Farmyard Flyer completes the ride offering in Tornado Springs. The detailing and theming are in keeping with the area and delivers an authentic experience. Farmyard Flyer is great fun for younger guests and balances the thrill and excitement that spinning and swirling on the Storm Chaser coaster delivers for older children and parents.

“Since the earliest days of Paultons Park, we have worked hard to ensure that we offer a value for money day out for families of all ages. Paultons Park is a destination for all the family, where no one misses out on the fun. Guest experience is at the top of our priority list and so for every ride we put in with a slightly taller height restriction, we always try invest in an option for smaller guests, so nobody feels left out.”

The Park’s major new themed world of attractions, Tornado Springs, opened in April 2021 with eight new rides and experiences. The investment has expanded Paultons Park’s already extensive family offering, which includes the world’s first dedicated Peppa Pig World.

The opening of Farmyard Flyer leads an exciting line up of events at Hampshire’s Paultons Park this Spring.

The annual Hoppy Easter event returns from April 8 to 26 and includes appearances from Bobtail Bunny and his forest friends, Betty Bunny, Hennie the Hedgehog, Red the Deer and a mischievous Fenton Fox. As well as seasonal character appearances, the Park’s entrance plaza will be festooned with giant Easter Eggs.

Peppa Pig and her brother George will make daily appearances throughout the day at the UK’s exclusive Peppa Pig World. There’s a whole host of friendly animals for guests to meet including penguins, tropical birds and meerkats. For those a little more daring, Paultons Park’s dinosaur themed land, Lost Kingdom, has two world class rollercoasters and daily ALIVE! Dinosaur Encounter experiences where Hampshire’s favourite friendly dinosaurs are the stars of the show.

Paultons Park was named by Tripadvisor as the 10th best-rated amusement park in the world and the fourth best in Europe – beating all other UK attractions – in the most recent 2020 Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards. The family theme park also retained its title for an unbeaten fifth year in a row as the UK’s best-rated amusement park.
