On Friday 20th March, Paultons Park welcomed 5 separate secondary schools for our first ever Maths Day.
As students explored the park and enjoyed the thrilling rides, they were challenged to find all 9 trail points and solve the problems which involved using their mathematical knowledge and applying it to our rides, attractions and animals.
Schools pre-selected whether their students joined in the complimentary workshops throughout the day, with many opting to participate in all 3.
These offered engaging experiences to see Maths in real life situations at the park – whether calculating speeds of rides, predicting visitor numbers or sorting attractions into Venn diagrams.
The day was met with huge positivity and as a result, we are excited to host out next KS3 Maths Days on 1st and 2nd October 2026 – we hope to see you there!
