The award-winning New Forest attraction Paultons Park donated £15,000 to charity following its annual Gardens Open Evening, with 100% of ticket sales gifted to partners Lymphoma UK, Young Lives vs Cancer, and Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.

James Mancey, deputy managing director at Paultons Park said, “We’re thrilled with the success of this year’s annual Gardens Open Evening. The gardens are a huge part of our heritage and the experience we offer our guests. Our team works tirelessly to maintain the 140 acres of parkland here at Paultons Park, and it’s a real pleasure to share it with those who may not typically visit us for a day out.

“The evening is extra special knowing that ticket sales are supporting such deserving charities and vital services in our county. Thank you to all those who joined us and helped make the evening such a success.”

Guests were invited to explore the attraction’s landscaped gardens, originally designed by Capability Brown, after usual park closing hours. Visitors heard from the park’s expert gardening and management team about the history of the gardens, including how many of the original layouts are still maintained today within the park’s curated and themed gardens. The Paultons estate dates back to the 11th Century and Paultons Park recognises the historical importance and biodiverse nature of the site. As part of the ‘Paultons Promise’, the park is always developed sensitively to protect its heritage and to encourage the natural flora and fauna to thrive.

Natalie Russell, Supporter Engagement Officer at Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance said, “Paultons Park’s generous donation will make an extraordinary impact on local families. The funds raised from the event will allow the Critical Care Team to reach patients who are likely experiencing the worst moment of their lives, giving them a much greater chance of survival and recovery. The timing could not be better, as demand for the crew’s expertise soars. August 2026 was our busiest month of the year, where we embarked on 250 lifesaving missions.”

The ‘Paultons Promise’ also focuses on the local community. Alongside its premium charity partners, each year the Park supports charity and community requests, and teams and events in the local area.

Liz Blunt, Senior Fundraising Engagement Manager at Young Lives vs Cancer said, “It’s a real honour to be one of Paultons Park’s premium charity partners and a massive thank you to everyone from Paultons Park for supporting children and young people with cancer and their families. That £5,000 could pay for a family to stay 71 nights in Jean’s House.”

Tom Ingram, Chair at Lymphoma UK said, “We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone at Paultons Park for their continued and generous support, including the wonderful recent Gardens Open Evening. We are also incredibly grateful to everyone who attended the event and supported Lymphoma UK. The generosity of Paultons Park and its visitors helps us fund vital research into lymphoma blood cancer, while also providing essential support to those affected by the disease. We are truly grateful for everyone’s commitment and support.”
