Gardens Open Evening at Paultons Park

The award-winning New Forest attraction, Paultons Park, has announced the date for this year’s charity Gardens Open Evening, taking place on Thursday, 10th September 2026 from 4:00pm to 7:30pm.

Guests are invited to explore the attraction’s landscaped gardens, originally designed by Capability Brown, after usual park closing hours. Hear from the park’s expert gardening and management team about the history of the gardens, including how many of the original layouts are still maintained today within the park’s curated and themed gardens.

Visitors will have the opportunity to chat to both the management and gardening teams at Paultons Park and benefit from their expertise in horticulture.

100% of ticket revenue from the Open Evening event is donated to the park’s charity partners, Lymphoma UK, Young Lives vs Cancer, and Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.

The Trekking Tractors, Rio Grande Train, and Dino Tour Company rides remain operational for the evening to take garden enthusiasts on a journey through the planting that surrounds some of the park’s most popular rides and attractions.

James Mancey, deputy managing director at Paultons Park, said: “We work hard to preserve and maintain the gardens across the 140 acres of Paultons Park. The landscape is incredibly historic and forms a vital part of our heritage. We’re delighted that so many of our guests enjoy the beauty of the diverse gardens we cultivate here, and our Gardens Open Evening enables visitors to explore the grounds in a quieter setting. There’s something particularly magical about the gardens as the sun is setting and the park has closed for the day, and we’re looking forward to sharing that moment with guests and in support of brilliant local charities.

“Lymphoma UK, Young Lives Vs Cancer, and Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, are all incredibly deserving and important charities that provide vital services in our county.”

Tickets are priced at £10 for adults, with children under 1 metre admitted free of charge. The Wild Forest and Grande Central restaurant will also be open for refreshments during the evening. Ciao Bella will also be serving ice cream treats.
