Our education team have been busy over the winter helping four furry new friends move into the Park. Rat pups Remy, Archie, Dumbo and Bailey are settling into their new home at Paultons where they will become part of our brand new animal workshops in 2018.

School children visiting the Park can now take part in the all-new animal workshops where a range of different subjects are covered – all including ‘close encounters’ with mammals, reptiles and invertebrates*. Each session is tailored to the school group, where children can learn all about the skills and features that enable different animals to adapt to the environments they live in. Other animals due to join the Education Team include snakes, hedgehogs, duprasi gerbils, giant African millipedes, cockroaches and giant stick insects.

Follow our education team on Twitter @paultonseducate to see how the pups settle in over the next few months.

*Due to animal welfare reasons, we can not guarantee which animals will be available on the day, but will endeavour to provide an exciting range.
