It has been a very busy winter here at Paultons during this year’s closed season! Tornado Springs is our most ambitious project yet with 8 incredible rides and experiences, a new restaurant, shop, playgrounds and themed areas all under construction, ready for opening. We have a very special behind the scenes look around at some of the work completed so far. Enjoy!
Buffalo Falls is now complete with a new themed structure surrounding the ride.
The Storm Chaser rollercoaster station has been erected and gives you a glimpse at some of the storm damage caused by the Tornado’s native to the Springs…
Here is a phenomenal view of the completed Storm Chaser track from Buffalo Falls.
The Rio Grande Train track is also being laid and takes a new route through the land.
Jesse’s Route 83 Diner has been constructed and the team are now busy installing equipment to feed hungry visitors when they arrive in the Springs.
Adjacent to Al’s Auto Academy – a driving school attraction, a new shop has been created ready for the young folk of the Springs to pick up their licences, as well as purchase lots of yummy treats and cool memorabilia.
A new Parking Lot Tots Playground is being prepared where little ‘uns can let their imagination roam free.
Finally the Cyclonator gyro swing ride is now complete and being tested to harvest the crops in the springs!
A huge amount of work takes places across the entire Park during the winter from the hosing down of rooftops, cleaning of signage, replacement of mechanical parts to gardening, planting, animal feeding and stocktakes. We may be closed but it is a busy time for us preparing for the new season where we hope to see you all!
The Park re-opens for half term on 15th February 2020.
