Hello season ticket holders!
We hope you all enjoyed some wonderful Christmas celebrations and are looking forward to the fantastic new year that will soon be upon us! Before we move forward into another exciting season we’d like to share some the highlights of 2018, which we’re sure many of you will remember. So sit back, relax and take a look through lots of our fun-filled memories of this year ….
Starting the season with a trip to the Savannah
As we opened in February 2018, we were absolutely thrilled to have a brand new attraction for you all to enjoy! Little Africa has proven to be very popular, with many guests heading over to visit our fascinating species of the Savannah alongside their visits to Peppa Pig World. Guests have been very happy to see our meerkats return to the park and have also enjoyed discovering Sahara and Dune, our two new Fennec Foxes, as well our adorable African Pygmy Mice! Have you managed to spot our porcpines venture from their enclosure yet?
An ‘egg’static easter event for all!
The arrival of Spring saw rather a lot of unexpected snow finally followed by some sunshine, beautiful blossoming flowers and the arrival of a seasonal event at the Park, Hoppy Easter! We received lots of lovely photos from guests and season ticket holders alike, as they came face to face with their new favourite Easter characters – Bobtail Bunny whom was definitely a hit!
New rides for 2018!
Not long after our Easter event came to a close, we had another new and exciting development to share with you all. The grand opening of our two enchanting new rides Grampy Rabbit’s Sailing Club and The Queen’s Flying Coach Ride was certainly one to remember! A few days before the official opening we held exclusive preview events for members of the press, celebrities, golden ticket winners and of course, season ticket holders!! We hope you’ve all enjoyed spending time in our even bigger and better Peppa Pig World this year.
It’s not just the rides that keep getting bigger and better…
Earlier this year we welcomed a new Head of Food and Beverage to Paultons and he’s already made many great changes throughout our restaurants and catering kiosks.
As season ticket holders we’re sure you’ve noticed some of these changes but we couldn’t quite believe just how many there were! From Iced Frappes to Donut Delight’s, Fish & Chips to Chicken skewers – you’ll definitely be spoilt for choice here at Paultons! You can even take something for the road with our new Chicago Town takeaway pizza offering – YUM!
You’ve all been making the most of our your 20% season ticket holder discount in our restaurants and catering kiosks so make sure you keep your eyes peeled next year as there will likely be even more mouth watering additions for you to enjoy!
A long, hot summer
As we drew closer to the summer holidays, the sun certainly had his hat on! Our water rides were busier than ever and many of the little ones enjoyed hours spent in Water Kingdom, splashing around and cooling down as they made the most of their day at the Park.
The Summer Beach Party made a return with daily shows throughout the summer and guests were also able to meet the Beach Squad during their visit.
We were also delighted to announce, in time for the summer holidays, that we became the first UK amusement park to avieve the title of ‘the UK’s best-rated amusement park’ in TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Awards, for three consecutive years. We were also honoured to be awarded the ninth best-rated amusement park in Europe and 24th in the world!
Happy Halloween
As the summer holidays drew to a close we were very excited to begin preparing for our Happy Halloween event, which was bigger and better than ever before. With over 4,000 pumpkins throughout the park, the opening of The Big BOO Barn and a brand new theatrical show, The Legend of Paultons Manor – we certaintly had more fun than ever before. It was a busy time for us and we were so delighted to see many season ticket holders sharing photos with us and making the most of all that we had to offer!
Happy Halloween will be back next year and we can’t wait to welcome you all back for even more spooktastic fun.
Christmas
Once the festive season was upon us, Christmas at Paultons returned once again! It was great to see so many of you making the most of all the Christmas decorations throughout the Park during November and December.
With lots of scrummy festive treats available and themed fun over in Peppa Pig World, it was an enchanting occasion yet again that we enjoyed very much in the run up to Christmas Day!
