Paultons Park, the UK’s number one family theme park*, has been crowned as the UK’s Loo of the Year 2021, with success across several categories in the business sector, including UK’s Best Toilet, Overall National Winner and Washroom Cleaner of the Year.

The Loo of the Year awards and associated Washroom Cleaner of the Year Awards for Cleaning Staff have been identifying the best washrooms in Britain since 1987, encouraging impeccable standards in all ‘away from home’ washrooms.

Paultons Park received recognition in the form of both diamond and platinum grades at this year’s awards, placing the park in the ‘Champions League’. This placement is presented to organisations which have been awarded with 5 or more Platinum or Diamond grades.

The attraction took home the golden loo seat trophy as the Overall National Winner after being assessed against 101 judging criteria. The criteria include the overall standards of cleanliness and management, signage and décor, and fixtures and fittings.

Commenting on the win, James Mancey, operations director at Paultons Park said: “This award is a real testament to the team at Paultons and we are truly proud of their hard work and dedication. It’s thanks to them we’ve been able to maintain the facilities to the exceptionally high standard we’re known for. We strive to provide the best experience for families, from the state-of-the-art rides to the changing facilities. We know that this win will not go unnoticed by our guests!”

Paultons Park’s 140-acre attraction showcases several dedicated themed lands, including its newest attraction Tornado Springs, dinosaur themed area Lost Kingdom, and the UK-exclusive Peppa Pig World, all of which achieved diamond grades by the judges in the 2021 Loo of the Year Awards.

Paultons Park reopened for the 2022 season on the 19th February. Tickets start from £39.75 for advance bookings and children under 1m go free.

Short breaks are also available with prices starting from £199 for a family of four which includes an overnight stay and two days entry.

All tickets must be prebooked via the Paultons Park website: https://paultonspark.co.uk/tickets/
