Editorial Team
Our marketing and communications team all play a vital role in promoting Paultons and the fun experiences families can enjoy together.
A wide range of marketing channels are used to raise awareness of the Park including, news and media public relations, advertising on television, radio and outdoor spaces as well as online via social media, email, search and display campaigns. The websites and mobile app play a central role in communicating the organisations offering as well as integrating the ticketing system that permits Park entry. Fundraising, partnerships and brand development are also carried out by the team as well as a host of content creation using graphic design with printed literature, signage, digital communications, photography, video creation and drone footage.
Our team is made up of the Head of Marketing and Communications, Assistant Marketing and IT Manager, Digital Specialist, Marketing and PR Officer and Graphic Designer. They hold a variety of qualifications including marketing, digital and design as well as extensive leisure and tourism experience.
Education Team
Our Education Team welcome thousands of children from preschools, schools and colleges across the South of England who wish to visit the Park for either a reward or learning trip.
Workshops are matched to the National Curriculum and can cover subjects such as biology, physics, computing and business studies. At the centre of our education offering is Professor Blast’s Learning Lab; the UK’s first dedicated theme park interactive education facility, designed especially for schools and uniformed group visits.
Education roles include teaching school children, assisting with risk assessments, preparing resources for downloads, outreach activities, ticketing, advertising, social media, animal husbandry and interacting with guests on Park.
Our education team hold relevant qualifications. Our Education and Sales Manager is a qualified teacher (BA. Ed. Hons QTS) with a wealth of experience both in school and in an off-site setting. The department holds the Learning Outside the Classroom ‘Quality Badge’ and was recently awarded silver in the British Youth Travel Awards ‘Best Schools Programme.
Livestock Team
Our team of dedicated expert keepers and volunteers work hard to keep our unique collection of exotic birds and animals well cared for.
There are over 100 species at Paultons including tropical birds, flamingos, pelicans, giant tortoises, hornbills, birds of prey, fish, reptiles, meerkats, penguins, fennec foxes and more.
Keeper roles include preparing food, keeping enclosure environments clean, checking the health of the animals, overseeing breeding programmes, stud book management, raising money for conservation work and communicating with guests via animal feeding sessions and keeper talks
Our livestock team hold a variety of qualifications in animal studies as well as a wealth of work experience in zoos and aquariums.
Guest Services Team
At the central hub of the Park is the administration and guest services team who oversee 1-1 communication with our guests via telephone and email. This is also the daily point of contact for all staff, guests and business partners.
Key roles include answering questions via calls and emails from guests who are planning on visiting the Park, responding to guest feedback after visiting the Park online via review sites as well as emails, lost property co-ordination, managing ticket sales for business partners and hotels, directing calls to relevant staff on-site, emergency response coordination, cash management and a variety of administrative tasks that keep the Park operating smoothly on a daily basis.
Our team includes the Guest Services and Administration Manager/ Directors’ PA, Administration Officers, Assistants and Cashiers. Qualifications and experience include Business Administration, Health and Safety, Guest Relations and Financial Management.
