Award-winning New Forest attraction Paultons Park has announced the date for this year’s charity Gardens Open Evening, taking place on Thursday, 11th September 2025 from 4:00pm to 7:30pm.
Guests are invited to explore the attraction’s landscaped gardens after usual park closing hours and hear from the park’s expert gardening and management team about the history of the gardens, plus benefit from day-to-day maintenance tips.

The grounds of the Paultons Estate were transformed in the 18th century into naturalistic landscaped gardens by the renowned landscape architect, Capability Brown. Many of his original layouts are still evident today within the park’s meticulously curated and themed gardens.
100% of the ticket cost for the 2025 event will be donated to the park’s charity partners, Lymphoma UK, Young Lives vs Cancer, Southampton Hospitals Charity (Children’s Hospital), and Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
The Trekking Tractors, Rio Grande Train, and Dino Tour Company rides remain operational for the evening to take garden enthusiasts on a journey through the planting that surrounds some of the park’s most popular rides and attractions.

James Mancey, deputy managing director at Paultons Park, said: “We’re looking forward to once again welcoming gardening enthusiasts to explore our wonderful parkland in support of our local charity partners.
“Lymphoma UK, Young Lives vs Cancer, Southampton Children’s Hospital, and Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance are all incredibly deserving and important charities that provide vital services in our county. Our Gardens Open Evening is just one way that we raise charitable donations throughout the year and also provides a lovely opportunity to connect with our local community.
“We work hard to preserve and maintain the gardens across the 140 acres of Paultons Park. The landscape is incredibly historic and forms a vital part of our heritage. We’re delighted that so many of our guests enjoy the beauty of the diverse gardens we cultivate here – from the main gardens surrounding where Paultons House once stood, to the tropical planting area, our serene Japanese gardens, and the African-themed Jungle Falls Garden.
“Our Gardens Open Evening enables visitors to explore our extensive gardens with the expert guidance and support of our Gardens team, and offers an opportunity to experience the attraction at its most tranquil once the park is closed for the day.”
Tickets are priced at £10 for adults, with children under 1 metre admitted free of charge. The Wild Forest restaurant will also be open for refreshments during the evening.
