Hip hip hooray! Lockdown has just about lifted, Paultons Park is open, and you can finally let your hair down. We hope our tips and tricks over the last few months have inspired you to get creative and try something new while at home. From your very own DIY Critter Creek bugs to Peppa Pig treasure hunts, we know that coming up with fun ideas to keep the little ones entertained has been a challenge. We asked you what you got up to recently and what the most popular lockdown activities amongst Paultons Park fans were…
Cooking & Baking Activities During Lockdown
We’ve got a load of whisk-takers on our hands! It’s just as well the shops stocked up on flour and eggs so that you could bake the world a better place. From mug cakes to brownies, you baked it all. 42% of you said that a lot of time at home was spent baking all sorts of delicious things with the children.

Believe it or not, despite 10% of you losing count of how many banana breads you made, it still wasn’t the most popular bake! We suspect Peppa Pig cakes have probably taken that crown…
Arts and Crafts in Lockdown
Surprise surprise, arts & crafts were the second most popular lockdown activity! Paultons Park fans have got creative with paints, crayons, glitter and glue – only to name a few. When things felt dull and boring, youngsters got to work on bringing some colour to our communities. From painting rainbows at home to spotting them on daily walks, the vibrant rainbow trend took over windows, giving hope to families all over the UK.

Exercising Activities
Despite this most recent lockdown being a chilly one, it seems a lot of you still managed to get outside and work out! Exercising made it into the top three most popular lockdown activities. PE lessons kick-started the home-schooling day and dance classes let the little ones blow off some steam after lots of learning. After all that exercise, we think you’ve earned some extra fries during your next visit to Paultons – our new Route 83 diner is waiting for you!
Board games, movies, gardening and more have all kept you busy at home, but now it’s time for a family trip to Paultons Park – home of Peppa Pig world! We’re delighted to have seen so many of you since we reopened on April 12th.
