Christmas at Paultons Park is a magical experience for children and adults alike. We’ve put together this handy guide of FAQs to help you make the most of your day.

What are the opening times for Christmas at Paultons Park?

Paultons Park opens at 9.30 am each day on selected November and December dates. Visits through the Santa’s Grotto attraction are pre-booked and time slots are chosen at the point of booking. We advise guests to arrive 15 minutes before their time slot. Rides close from 4:30pm with the park closing after the last visitors see Santa.

What is Santa’s Grotto like?

Santa’s Grotto is a spectacular walk-through attraction full of twinkling lights, colourful decorations and adorable animated singing characters. Join Rudolph on his journey to find Santa in time for Christmas Eve. Venture through a frozen land with mystical trees and you will meet many of Rudolph’s animal friends. At the end of the experience, children will meet Santa himself and receive a very special gift afterwards. Photograph opportunities are also available inside the grotto (additional charges apply).

TOP TIP: Make use of our pass-our facility. Return to the car to store your gifts to avoid having to carry them around the park during the day.

How long does the experience last?

We recommend allowing 45 minutes to walk through the Santa’s Grotto experience with your little ones enjoying the festive music and animated characters.

Why do I have to select a time for Santa’s Grotto?

There is a limited amount of space inside the experience and time slots available to spend with Santa. To minimise waiting time, we ask all guests to select allotted time slots to visit the attraction which are spread throughout the day equally.

Can I visit Paultons Park without the Santa’s Grotto experience?

Yes, Park Only tickets are available at a reduced rate to experience the magic of Christmas, These tickets can be purchased online. Season Ticket Holders can visit Paultons Park on any of our advertised opening dates, however visits to Santa’s Grotto must be booked separately. A number of selected rides are closed during November and December for winter maintenance.

Other than Santa’s Grotto, what is there to see and do?

Paultons Park is decorated for the Christmas period. Huge trees, lights and decorations are used to turn the park into a beautiful land to be enjoyed by the whole family. A great selection of Paultons rides and attractions are available as well as Peppa Pig World, which is beautifully decorated for the occasion.

TOP TIP: As it gets darker, the Park becomes even more spectacular – Our beautiful Carousel and Peppa Pig World look wonderful illuminated at dusk!

Are any of the rides closed during the Christmas period?

Yes, a selected number of rides will be closed for winter maintenance during November and December. See which rides are open/closed

I have a Season Ticket, can I visit Paultons Park without going through Rudolph’s Adventure?

Can we take photographs and video inside Santa’s Grotto?
