The Park is now open for February half term (Hampshire) and we have a few tips to help you get the best from your visit.

1. Wrap up warm

It’s a little chilly outside so make sure you wrap up warm during your visit and bring a few extra layers with you – we have a great selection of catering outlets open where you can get a yummy hot meal or a tasty hot chocolate! If you’d like to bring a change of clothes or additional items with you then please feel free. We have lockers available in various locations throughout the Park (charges apply) or you can return to your car at any time (you’ll need to exit via The Big Toy Shop and have your hand stamped to re-enter the Park).

2. Little Africa

Brand new and now officially open is our latest animal attraction, Little Africa. Not far from Peppa Pig World, this great new area is full or fascinating birds and animals of all shapes and sizes. Visit the nocturnal house to see the Fennec Foxes, Giant Pouched Rats and Jerboas before venturing back in to the picturesque free flying aviary to meet Trumpeter Hornbills, Black-Crowned Night Herons and many more fascinating species.

3. Ride Availability

We have a great selection of rides and attractions open for you to enjoy during your half-term visit from the child friendly delights of Peppa Pig World to the larger and more adventurous rides in Lost Kingdom.

During this time of year a few of our rides are undergoing essential maintenance – find out more about ride maintenance.

4. Character meet and greets

Head to Madame Gazelle’s School House to meet Peppa and George during your visit. Take a special photograph of your little one with their favourite childhood friends and save some time for a big hug! Appearances take place at selected times throughout the day and are usually significantly quieter later in the day.

Whilst enjoying the thrills of Lost Kingdom see if you can spot the Dinosaur Tour Company Rangers venturing through the land with baby dinosaurs Chewie and Roary.

5. Indoor fun

George’s Indoor Spaceship Playzone provides galaxies of indoor fun all year round no matter what the weather! Rocket to the moon and climb into George’s Spaceship then zoom out of the tube slide after reaching the top. Catch the soft balls exploding from the ball volcano in the Recycling Centre, before placing them back into the collection buckets where they are vacuumed up and reused. Don’t forget your socks and bring some for Mummy and Daddy too!

Sit back and relax in our state of the art Show Street 4D Cinema and enjoy our new film Birds of a Feather. Movie-goers will be thrown into the on-screen action while experiencing the cinema’s 4D effects including specially-designed moving chairs, water sprays, blasts of air, leg ticklers, and even bubbles!

Over in Critter Creek our real life bug emporium Beastie Burrow offers guests of all ages the chance to discover fascinating and unusual insects, fish and lizards!

6. The Hub

If you need any additional information or assistance during your visit, then head on over to The Hub. This great new area is just inside The Big Toy Shop and is a great spot to ask any questions you may have from season tickets to school trips!

We hope our tips help you out during your visit and look forward to welcoming you to the Park soon!
