Happy New Year!
As we look ahead to all of the exciting things we have planned for 2024, we thought it was only right to compile some of our favourite moments from 2023.
Our 40th Anniversary and Percy Trail
We started by celebrating our 40th Anniversary in May. The Percy Trail went down incredibly well, and it was so much fun to watch everyone spot the owls as you walked around the park. It was also amazing to welcome back Percy himself for some appearances in May. He was in very high demand and we loved seeing your photos with him!
Opening of Ciao Bella
Our brand new gelato kiosk, Ciao Bella opened in July and many ice-creams have been served since! With some delicious topping to choose from including Kinder Bueno or Ferrero Rocher; and over 20 flavours of ice cream it has been a real hit with guests!
New charity partnerships
We were delighted to expand our charity partnerships to work with three premium charity partners as of August. Our charity partners are Southampton Children’s Hospital, Young Lives vs Cancer, and The Karen Ingram Foundation. We have enjoyed welcoming all three charities to the park for fundraising stands, as well as raising money through bake sales and even a team skydive in 2023! We look forward to working together and building our partnership further in 2024.
Halloween Spooktacular
As ever, Halloween was a highlight of the year! With thousands of pumpkins across the park, Halloween shows, and late-night openings it was great fun! It’s always special seeing the rides in the dark, Cyclonator is even more terrifying at night! Peppa Pig World had a spooky make-over including Mr Skinny Legs the spider, and Peppa and George looked wonderful in their costumes!
A Celebration of Christmas
A magical way to end the year, our Christmas event was full of festive cheer and fun. Santa’s Grotto returned for 2023 along with Christmas shows and beautiful trees and decorations. Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph the Reindeer where just a few of the Christmas characters waiting to meet you at the entrance and we hope you had as much fun as we did!
